Content Description | In relation to a 'very extraordinary demand' from the Board of Treasury, asks him to show Mr Hotham two crown grants, one of which conveyed various scattered estates to the duke's great-grandfather under the Great Seal, and the other of which conveyed the manors of Dracklow and Rudheath in Cheshire under the seal of the Duchy of Lancaster; the duke also wishes to see a copy of Mr Achard's will if it is in Doctors Commons, and to know whether he [the duke] is mentioned in Thomas Brand of the Hoo's will; hopes the matter with Mr Price is settled; informs him that Mr Hotham's house is in Norfolk Street in the Strand.
