Content DescriptionApologises to the [1st] Duke [of Portland] for the irregular accounts of free rents in the forest of Knaresborough; explains that he does not know what allowance he should have, and consequently finds it impossible to give an accurate account until Mr Dewbery's is settled; hopes to come to London in the spring and to settle all of the money; refuses to come in the winter because of the difficulty of the journey.
