Content DescriptionPromises to assist Mr Darcey in his candidacy for the Yorkshire election in any way he can; adds that he is sure Mr Darcey would have been elected in 1708 had his friends been more organised; mentions some 'free rents' emanating from the forest of Knaresborough which he has been involved with on behalf of Mr Dewbery; understands that Mr Dewbery is no longer employed by the Earl of Portland; assures Mr Champante that he has been highly honoured to be connected with the Earl of Portland; adds 'your favour herein will very much obleidge'.
