Content DescriptionHas heard nothing from him, so assumes his reply to Mr Fox's letter of 16 Dec. has gone astray; reiterates that he is not happy with his excuses and will not bother to explain them to the [1st] Duke [of Portland]; does not believe that Fox does not know what allowances to take, as there are accounts showing that he has taken allowances in the past; demands that the accounts must be settled in Hilary term.
