Content DescriptionReport in 12 paragraphs giving full details relating to the vill of Oldmoore in the parish, manor and barony of Bothal and its division in 1724; gives details of the landholdings there, and of a discrepancy found either in the plan or in the fencing between land belonging to the Duke [of Portland] and to Mr Lawson; suggests that coal may be found under the land, and conjectures that that under the land held by the freeholders might be worth £22,600; adds that he was surprised when told by Mr Lawson that the deeds had not been executed.
