Content Description	Passes on an apology from Mr Hall the maltster to 'My Lord' [2nd Earl of Oxford] for requesting payment of his bill; writes that Hall explains that no-one is able to pay anything in the area, but that he hopes they may be able to soon; hopes to meet up with Mr Hurrell and Mr Abbis at Kingston Wood to complete the business; refers to monetary business between Mr Peck and Mr Masthil. Mentions that the grain crop at Kingston Wood is very large; writes that he has paid the garden account to Mr Cole and has paid some rent to Trinity College; remarks that 'the mason work at the Church Gate excepting the Coronet is almost done'; hopes for the happiness of Lady Margaret and the Duke of Portland on their forthcoming marriage and writes that 'they will have Riches enough'.
