(1) grants to (2) several parcels of land in Worksop, Nottinghamshire, lately passed for enclosure [boundary and acreage details provided], including part of Worksop Manor Park, which includes South Lodge and Plumtree House; exceptions include wood and timber on part of the land to be granted to (2), which is staked out for a road to Whitwell [Nottinghamshire], which is to be felled and taken away by (1).
In exchange (2) grants to (1) a messuage with garden, commonly called 'Sloswicks [Farm?]'; also of several closes of land belonging to the farm [details of field names and acreages provided], all adjacent to one another, and ring fenced; together with all timber and trees forming part of Sloswicks Springs Wood and part of Mill Wood; all property is in Worksop; contains usual covenants.
Recitals: (a) fact that some of the property held by both (1) and (2) in Worksop lies next to each other, and has been decided that it would be mutually beneficial to exchange these lands. |
