Search for catalogue records using the Advanced Search option. For person and place index searches, go to the top menu and click the arrow under 'Advanced and index searches' to choose the appropriate search form. For the widest results in any search form, use the Free text search. The default is for more than one word in a box to be treated as Boolean AND search. You can alter this for each field by clicking 'Refine Search Criteria'.
