Ephemeral historical and commemorative material has been gathered together from a number of different accessions to form this series. Also included are a number of different history's of the University College.
Printed material and objects relating to the history of the University College. Over the years a range of literature and souvenir material was commissioned to commemorate significant events such as anniversaries and the opening of new buildings. The most important of these were the opening of the new buildings at Highfields, now the University Park campus, and the granting of the University charter.
Printed material relating to the history of the University College, including copies of books by Beckett, Wood and Townroe can be found in UR 1412-1418. Souvenirs relating to the opening of the University Park campus are held in UCN/H/3. Ephemeral material is found in UCN/H/1.
