Admin History	The Department of Geography was part of the Faculty of Arts in 1948, when the University was created. It also became part of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences when that Faculty was formed in 1958. In 2000 the School of Geography was formed within the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences.
