Admin HistoryThe School of Biology was formed in 1997 within the Faculty of Science, becoming the School of Biological Sciences in 1998. At the time it was formed, the School consisted of the Divisions of Agriculture and Horticulture, Animal Physiology, Behaviour/Infection and Immunity, Environmental Science, Food Sciences, Microbiology, Molecular Toxicology, Nutritional Biochemistry and Plant Science (i.e. the divisions which were previously in the former Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences). In 2000 it became the School of Biosciences.
