Has been away from home, some of which has been spent visiting; he will keep the Deanery [of Bangor], but is not going to tell anybody else until Sir Robert [Walpole] returns to London; he is to receive an income of £1000 per year and he is going to ask the 'Scotch Duke' whether this is suitable; Sam is feeling well again after his visit to Cambridge.
