Exclaims her amusement at Mrs W. comparing her 'ill shaped' daughters to Venetia and Jessica 'who are both celebrated for having beautiful figures'. Discusses Jessica and her son Mark [Sykes, later 6th Baronet], a riding accident sustained by her brother John [Leslie, 1st Baronet Leslie of of Glaslough], her nephew Lord Waterford [John Henry de la Poer Beresford, 5th Marquess of Waterford] being subjected to stone throwing in Ireland.
