Says that he is a close friend of the Earl of Buckingham; refers to his late father's estate in Ireland, which was 'usurped away' by his youngest brother and his Popish friends; says that his grandfather was chief magistrate in Limerick and died defending the 'Pass' against Cromwell's forces; says that his brother and nephew have died, but that the estate is entangled; wishes to be employed in Queen Anne's service; says that he has some information which may be of use and encloses a memorandum [not present].
