Content DescriptionSay that the Lord Treasurer [1st Earl of Oxford] would have done him a 'great kindness' if he had informed him at London that he was to have 'no salary'; says that his son spent more in the 'Queen's service' than he did, which makes him less able to 'bear the present charge'; asks where the order which the Treasurer signed is; says he is glad that the Queen has recovered; comments that his zeal to serve has not been diminished.
