Content Description	Discusses briefly the receipt of recent packets and the news of Stanhope's illness; says that he will spare Stanhope and write instead to his secretary Mr Dayrolle; says that he will speak to the Prince regarding a reception on board the 'yatch'; reports that the queen thinks it proper for Mr Dayrolle to continue 'to negotiate' until she can name a successor. Parts of text missing due to damage to document. This document has been identified as being in the hand of Robert Harley, 1st Earl of Oxford. Old Style dating on letter.
