Content DescriptionIs not writing to Lord Halifax as he is expected to return to England with the 'first fair wind'; requests a dispatch on the treaty of the succession and the 'compensation' for P[rince] Charles [of Denmark]; thinks that Charles must be 'contented with what the States wil give him for their part'; says that Mr Vryberge has been informed of the number of ships will make up the English winter quota; hopes that the States will 'joyne their quota'; hopes to hear good military news from Spain, Italy and the siege of Menin; says that the fleet 'passd Plimouth on Monday'.
