Content Description	Hopes that the States will grant the [pension] to [Charles] Prince of Denmark as the queen proposes; asks Stanhope to show his previous letter regarding the succession to Lord Halifax should he return to The Hague; says that he would have sent Halifax a letter if he had expected him to return there; directs Stanhope to discuss the issue of the Margrave of Baden with the Pensionary once more as they wish to 'cure the evil'; stresses the importance of bringing the treaty with the 'Hunganary' to a close; speculates that if war breaks out there troops will be drawn from the Rhine to Hungary; comments on intelligence that the French are filling galleys with men at Calais and intend to use 'several private men of warr' to 'do some mischief either on our coast or yours'; thinks that Stanhope should inform the 'Admty' of this. This document has been identified as being in the hand of Robert Harley, 1st Earl of Oxford. Old Style dating on letter.
