Content Description	Prays that the D[uke] of Marlborough and Lord Halifax have arrived safely, but fears that the weather may have delayed them; encloses a paper [not present] from Sir D. Mitchell and 'the rest of H.R.H. Council' regarding negotiations with Mr Vryberge and Mr Buys on the subject of the 'Dunkirk squadron'; issues instructions on how to proceed in these discussions; directs Stanhope to discover the exact plans of the Dutch with regard to the size of this year's fleet. This document has been identified as being in the hand of Robert Harley, 1st Earl of Oxford. Old Style dating on letter.
