Content Description	Expects the Duke of Marlborough to arrive shortly at the Hague; encloses the journal of the siege of Badajor [not present] and asks that it be communicated to the duke; refers to the success of the Anglo-Dutch forces in Catalonia; states that the queen wishes to send additional troops in order to ; directs Stanhope to discuss this proposal with the Pensionary and to request the duke to assist him; asks that the Pensionary be 'pressed' to instruct his ambassador Mr Schonenberg to assist in negotiations with the court of Portugal regarding the command of Portuguese forces. This document has been identified as being in the hand of Robert Harley, 1st Earl of Oxford. Old Style dating on letter.
