Content Description
Does not give many instructions as he expects that the Duke of Marlborough will arrive at The Hague before the mail; cannot comment on the resolution contained in a letter of Mr Allemande as he does not have enough details; says that whatever happened with the 'Admirals and Generals' must be founded on their 'original orders'; hopes that the negotiations regarding the 300 crowns [for the Holy Roman Emperor to march troops to Italy], the contraband [embargo against France] and the protection of Darthig will 'immediately now be disputed'.
This document has been identified as being in the hand of Robert Harley, 1st Earl of Oxford.
