Content DescriptionHopes that there will be better news from Barcelona when the mail arrives; says that it has been delayed by 'contrary' winds; has heard rumours that there is 'much confusion in the ranks'; encloses a copy [not present] of his answer to a memorial by Count de Gallas 'upon three powers'; hopes that the Count de Goesson? has obtained an answer from the Pensionary regarding the 300 crowns [intended to enable the Emperor to march troops to Italy]; says that a response is necessary as England needs to plan to make the first payment; wishes the treaty with the King of Prussia for his troops in Italy to be 'renewed without delay'.
