Content DescriptionDiscusses the increases made to the fleet; says that the queen has been obliged to add '22 great ships of the line' which was more than her original 'quote'; complains that the [Dutch?] have not sent any ships to join Lord Carmarthen; reports that Mr Vryberge assured the Lords that they would comply with this and send the ships as promised; however this has not been done; explains that the queen will send no further funds unless the States make the promised payment in return; hopes that Stanhope and Lord Sunderland have had successful talks with the States with regard too the 'contraband and passeports'.
