Content DescriptionSays that reports from Portugal are filled with the outbreaks of 'fresh great disorder'; orders Stanhope to 'press' for a 'remedy'; has sent an extract of these reports to Lord Sunderland; orders Stanhope to press the 'States' to give their 'sollicitations' with the King of Portugal and consent to Lord Galway commanding the auxiliary forces; can send no order from the queen regarding the question of 'neutral privicy'; says that his private opinion is that the Danes and Swedes must 'stand upon their respective treaties'; says that it will be easier to regulate 'passports'? of the Hanseatic towns and subjects of the King of Prussia after the same issue is settled with the 'States'.
