Mentions his fatigue; says that the agreement regarding the [dispute of the seizing of Dutch ships engaged on trade with France by the English] is solely due to the 'goodness' of Queen Anne and the intervention of the Duke of Marlborough; comments that Mr Vryberge should not be crediting himself with success in this affair; has read Stanhope's letter from which it is clear that the 'States' will not progress until the Duke of Marlborough 'comes over'; wishes Stanhope to continue his conferences regarding Darthig and the Berlin treaty regardless of this setback; comments that any unfinished business can be completed by the duke upon his arrival.
