Content Description
Instructs Stanhope (on behalf of the Queen) to continue his negotiations with the Pensionary and the 'States'; asks if he can 'hasten' the negotiations regarding the deployment of troops at Lisbon; says that Queen Anne is willing to 'gratify the States in letting them buy their Dragoon Horses in Ireland'; asks Stanhope to inform Mr Schmestau? of the Queen's intention to make a payment to the King of Prussia; comments on the 3000 forces of the King of Prussia which are to be received 'if there be occasion' and hopes that it is sufficiently covered in the treaty; discusses other aspects of the negotiations regarding Portugal; refers to the issue of Gibraltar; refers to a document by the 'States' relating to the Marquis of Bedmar.
