Concerns the political situation in Europe; refers to an 'affreux attentat' urging discovery and punishment of the culprit; reminds of his last audience with the Queen, accompanied by Sunderland and presses for the promised response; considers the question of the Tsar's admission to the Grand Alliance; notes orders from his own court to re-negotiate the matter and urges the Queen to respond positively.
