Comments on difficulties which have arisen in the delivery of a letter to Mr Buys via Mr Drummond; gives the Queen's agreement for a visit by Mr Buys to England; is himself looking forward to seeing 'so great a man and so good a friend'; comments that Lord Strafford's prolonged presence in England has aroused suspicion, but he was in pursuit of 'so great a fortune' which had now been accomplished; explains delays in the negotiations surrounding the 'Great Affair'.
