Content DescriptionReports that the French have given Lord Albermarle leave to return to Tournay 'for four days in order to settle his family affairs'; says Albermarle is to be transported to Orleans with the 'rest of the Prisoners'; comments that their side always granted leave to return to the family seat to any prisoner 'of note' but that the French have not done so in this case; thanks Oxford for offering his intercession for Albermarle's release; asks if he may assure Albermarle of Oxford's 'friendship and protection'.
