Content DescriptionExplains that if Van Heels were to travel to Holland on the orders of the Earl of Oxford it would assist in restoring the 'good intelligence and confidence between the two Nations'; states that he wishes to resume direct communications with the earl on this matter; thanks Van Heels for providing information on the 'present situation of affairs'; laments the 'misfortunes' of the Earl of Albermarle; expresses his satisfaction that Oxford is willing to assist Albermarle; reports they have not entered into any 'new engagements' with the Emperor as Van Heels seemed to think.
