Says that her husband can provide 'credible proofs' that 'several pretended deserted officers from ye enemy' who are imposing on the Treasury are 'mere impostures and fugatives from ye crimes they comitted in ye enemys contrey'; says that the friends of these men have been lying on their behalf; claims that Colonel Daly pretends to be 'Leuftenant Colonel Sheldon'; comments that he imposed on Lord Godolphin and Sunderland to recommend to the King of Portugal that he be granted a Colonel's commission'; says that Daly's actions have been 'mean, and scandelous'; provides details of other men; says that her spouse believes these 'frenchified Papists' to be confederates of Guiscard.
