Content DescriptionStates that they came from France and Spain and were employed to serve in the troops paid by Queen Anne or her allyes; says that since the reduction of the troops the petitioners have been without employment; complains that many of them have sold their valuables and that some have been imprisoned for their debts, whilst others fear leaving their houses in case they 'fall into the hands of Baylifs'; makes a claim for 'commiseraon and pitty'; requests that their arrears be paid and provision be made for their futures.
