Content DescriptionHas written to Mr Heaton to inform Messrs Child and Co. that he is hoping to send them about £3000 in October and November, and that the tithe rents are not due till Christmas and the 'wood money' not until Lady Day, but will send them when they arrive; hopes to borrow £500 in this country, but Mr Atkinson had gone to Whitehaven, although Mr Nicolson paid him £200; mentions that some surveys done last year are incorrect.
