Includes references to the sale of the manors of Grantham, Lincolnshire and Dracklow and Rudheath, Cheshire for £15645 13/- to trustees to be settled on the Duke of Portland and his issue pursuant to an act of Parliament [see Pl F2/4/16]; sale of the manors of Leven and Hornsea, Yorkshire to Hugh Bethell (for £5500 and £5000 respectively); £6000 borrowed on bond from Lord George Bentinck; subscription of £100 to the Foundling Hospital; and long list of tradesmen's bills, London and Bulstrode, settled (£8365). All 1742-1743.

Also £20101 received after the death of the Countess Dowager and its use in discharging Lord George Bentinck's mortgage to the Earl and Countess of Oxford. 1751.
