Thanks Denison for his letter; comments that he was unable to visit either Peterborough or Lord Fitzwilliam due to pre-engagements; states he should have liked to remain out of Parliament for time but has had to depart; has had 'telegraphic message' from Durham informing him of Mr Granger's death at York; comments on new Members [in House of Commons]; refers to his travel plans but will not be in Denison's vicinity; hopes they may meet in Scotland.
