Shuttleworth and [Thomas] Arnold are out of question for position; refers to announcement at meeting of Ecc[lesistical] Com[missioners] of death of [Bishop] Burton and subsequent discussion of Regius Professorship; informs him that he declined to give parliamentary address when pressed by Government in attempt to appear non partisan.
