In consideration of the surrender of a lease bearing date 6 Jun. 1798 [see Ne D 4203 for details], lease from (1) to (2) for 20 years of the rectory and parsonage of Walkeringham, Nottinghamshire with the allotments in lieu of tithes and all appurtenances; reserves for (1) the advowson, patronage and gift of the vicarage; rent to be paid twice yearly at specified feast days in equal portions; states that if the wheat or barley cannot be provided, then for money equivalent to the market price to be paid; includes covenant for the repair of the rectory and the chancel of the parish church.
Rent: £15.19.6.; 10 quarters, 3 bushels and 3 pecks of 'good and Merchantable Wheat sweet clean and well dressed'; and 19 quarters, 3 bushels and 2 pecks of 'good and Merchantable Malt of Barley well dried and clean'. |
