In consideration of an intended marriage between (2) and Elizabeth Sowtheby, and for the making of a competent jointure, lease [Ne D 4148] and release [Ne D 4149] from (10 to (2) of the manors of Walkeringham and Misterton, Nottinghamshire, together with all rights and appurtenances; also of the chief rents of £11.5.8.½ yearly; and also of all the messuages, tenements, lands and buildings of (1) in Walkeringham and Misterton; includes expected covenants.
