Property is subject to a mining lease with the Wigan Coal and Iron Company Ltd dated 30 Oct. 1896, and varied by releases dated 10 Dec. 1906 and 3 Mar. 1931; also subject to the provisions of the Coal Act 1938 and the Coal Industry Nationalisation Act 1946.

(2) covenants to do all things necessary to obtain payment claimed by (1) under the Town and Country Planning Act 1947.
