Second Party: Robert Henry Allen as secretary of the Worksop and Retford Brewery Company Limited.

Tenancy agreement between (1) and (2), whereby (1) agrees to let to (2) the right to fish the Chesterfield and Stockwith Canal between Turner Wood Lock [at Shireoaks] and Bracebridge [Lock at Worksop]; commences on 1 Feb. 1904 and continues year to year until 6 months notice given by either party.

(1) agrees that (2) may sub-let the fishing rights to any association which may exist or be formed in connection with any Licensed Houses in the district.

Rent: £2 per annum.

Note that the points between which (2) can fish the canal are variously given as Doefield Dun Lock, Dauphin Dun Lock or Turner Wood Lock at Shireoaks, and Brett's or Goode's Lock at Bracebridge.
