Conveyance from (1) to (2) of a parcel of land fronting onto Bridge Street and Newcastle Avenue, measuring 180 square yards; includes part of the bed of the River Ryton; provides details of other boundaries; refers to plan which is not present.

Reserves all mines and minerals to (1); (1) indemnifies (2) from the annual rent charge of £600 [see recitals below]; (1) acknowledges (2)'s right to the production of title deeds listed in an appended schedule.

Consideration: £180.

Recitals: (a) fact that (1) is seised of the property in question, which is subject to an annual rent charge of £600; (b) fact that (1) has agreed to sell the property to (2) for the purpose of widening and improving Bridge Street in Worksop.

Possibly part of old cattle market site which was auctioned off by the duke [see Ne 6 D 2/48/159 and 166].
