Second Party: The Great Central Railway Company.

Conveyance from (1) to (2) of a parcel of land measuring 27 perches; subject to a lease with Mr Charles Middleton dated 17 May 1888 for a term of 21 years; includes all rights of pre-emption by (1) should the property become superfluous.

(1) agrees to indemnify (2) from an annual rent charge of £600 [see recitals below].

(1) acknowledges (2)'s right to the production of title deeds listed in an appended schedule.

Consideration: £33 and 15 shillings.

Recitals: (a) fact that (1) is seised of the property in question which is subject to an annual rent charge of £600 payable to Lord Edward Pelham-Clinton; (b) fact that (1) has agreed to sell the property to (2); (c) fact that (1) has agreed to indemnify (2) from the payment of the aforementioned annual rent charge.
