Second Party: The Vicar of the Abbey Church of the parish of Worksop, Nottinghamshire [Henry T. Slodden at this time].

Conveyance from (1) to (2) of a parcel of land situated on the southern side of Newcastle Avenue, measuring 2717 square yards, and currently in the occupation of Christopher Fleming [as shown on plan].

Property be held by the vicar [Henry T. Slodden] and his successors for the purpose of a school conducted in accordance with the principles of the Incorporated National Society for promoting the education of the poor in the principles of the Established Church throughout England and Wales.

Contains provisos relating to a school committee possibly consisting of (2), Rev. Father Page, George Rock Lucas, Thomas James Flockton, Henry Sweet Hodding, Charles Tylden Wright, Joel Haslam, Robert Eddison, George Baxter, and Tom Marris.

Further provisos stating that any religious instruction on the premises shall be vested in (2).

(2) covenants not to erect any buildings on the property until plans have been approved by (1), and also covenants to erect and maintain a boundary fence between points 'A' and 'B' on the plan.

Stipulates that if the property is still not being used for the intended purpose after 2 years, then the grant is void.

Includes plan with the property in question shaded pink; various measurements have been added in pencil; shows Newcastle Avenue and Norfolk Street.
