Conveyance from (1) and (2) to (3) of 703 square yards of land situated at Low Town, Radford, in the parish of Worksop; bounded by Prior Well Road [Priorswell Road] and the Workop Abbey gateway in the east, and by Potter Street in the south [shown on attached plan]; for the purpose of building a new road in a northerly direction from Potter Street .

Discharges (3) from mortgage debt dated 25 Apr. 1882 [see recitals]

Stipulates that a main sewer shall be built by (3) or the Local Board of Health of Worksop and dedicated to public use, and must provide adequate drainage for adjoining property owned by (2); also stipulates that that (2) has a right of way across the property until the new road is built, except the area to the north of the Abbey Gateway.

(3) covenants to erect and maintain a certain boundary wall; (2) covenants to demolish all buildings standing on the property in question; includes covenants for the production of title deeds.

Consideration: £750 paid to (1) by (3) for satisfaction of mortgage debt [see recitals below].

Recitals: (a) recites mortgage between (1) and (2) dated 25 Apr. 1882, for securing the sum of £20,000 plus interest; (b) fact that the sum of £20,000 plus interest remains owing to (1); (c) fact that (2) has agreed to sell the property in question to (3) for £750; (d) fact that (1) has agreed to take the £750 in part satisfaction of the mortgage debt.

Includes plan with the property in question edged pink; shows proposed road in brown; biuldings are hatched and labelled with use or name of premises; plan also shows Potter Street, Abbey Gateway, Priorwell Road [Priorswell Road], etc. See Ne 6 D 2/48/129/2 for clearer version of plan.
