In consideration of the agreement recited at (b) below, grant from (1) to the 6th Duke of Leeds and Francis Ferrand Foljambe to pay an annuity of £10. to the Vicar of Worksop, in relation to (1)'s patronage of the new chapel at Shireoaks, Nottinghamshire; states that after the intended act of parliament has been passed, the Vicar of Worksop will receive the annuity of £10. in two equal half yearly portions; includes clauses relating to the default in payment of the annuity which would result in the receiving of the tithes by impropriation.
Recitals: (a) fact that John Gally Knight has died since the execution of the within recited indenture; (b) fact that (1) has begun to erect a building intended for divine worship in Shireoaks according to specific trusts, but that the right of presentation of the chapel may not remain with (1); fact that (1) has requested of Charles [Howard, 11th] Duke of Norfolk, the present vicar and the Archbishop of York to grant him the right of presentation, to which they have concurred.
