Content Description | 'An Act to render more Effectual the Agreements that have been made between Thomas Holles [1st] Duke of Newcastle [under Lyne] Henry Pelham Esq[uire] Edward Lord Harley [later 2nd Duke of Oxford] and the Lady Henrietta his Wife, William Vane [later 1st Viscount Vane] and Gilbert Vane [later 2nd Baron Barnard] Esquires Sons of Christopher Lord Barnard or any of them in Relation to the Will and Estate of John [Holles] late [3rd] Duke of Newcastle [upon Tyne]; and for Settling the same in such Manner as may be agreeable to the Intent of the said Agreements and for other Purposes therein mentioned'.
