Content Description | Devises to his eldest son, Thomas Fletcher all his messuages, lands and tenements at Birks in the parish of] Whitwell, Derbyshire and Ratcliff[e] in the parish of Worksop, Nottinghamshire; property is charged with the payment of all debts, bonds or securities, and all the legacies as specified by his will; also bequeaths to his son all furniture, livestock, crops, farming implements all belonging to the property above; all sums of money due and owing by mortgage, bond or other security, except what might be owing on account of corn stock, subject to the payment of all debts, legacies and funeral expenses.
Bequeaths to his youngest son, Robert Fletcher 'the Tenant right and possession of the two Farms' occupied by him at Whitwell, with all lands, tenements and so on, with all household furniture, plate, linen, china, farming utensils and implements, livestock and crops, together with all debts which may be due on corn or other stock; notes that the bequest is subject to the payment of all rents due and of all debts that might be owing.
Gives to his daughter Ann Moston a legacy of £100; and to his other daughter Grace Fletcher the sum of £300.; both legacies are to be paid by his son Thomas within 12 months of his decease; remainder of the estate is be given to his son Thomas.
