Third Party: Henry Granville Howard, commonly called Lord Fitzalan [later 14th Duke of Norfolk].
Fourth Party: Henry Pelham Fiennes Pelham Clinton [4th] Duke of Newcastle [under Lyne].
Deed of covenant from (1), (2) and (3) to (4) to produce all or any of the title deeds specified in the attached schedule, concerning the Worksop Manor Estate [Nottinghamshire]; attached schedule lists the deeds and documents relating to the property.
Recitals: (a) fact that (1), (2) and (3) have agreed with (4) for the sale of the property for the sum of £370,000.; (b) details of an indenture of lease and release bearing even date [wanting]; (c) the deeds and documents listed in the schedule relate not only to the heriditaments comprised in the lease and release recited at (b), but also to other heriditaments conveyed by the same indentures, and agreed that (1), (2) and (3) shall retain custody of these.
Endorsed with a memorandum dated Jun. 1839; (1), (2) and (3) covenant to produce attested, plain or abstract copies of certain indentures of lease and release dated 7-8 Dec. 1820. |
