Deed of covenant from (1), (2) and (3) to (4) for indemnity against the non-production of title deeds relating to Holme Farm [in the parish of Whitwell, Derbyshire].
Recitals: (a) fact that on 3 Apr. 1838 (1), (2) and (3) contracted with (4) for the sale of property comprised in the recited indenture at (b); (b) details of an indenture of lease and release bearing even date [wanting]; (c) on the treaty of sale for the property, agreed that the title deeds relating to it would not have to be delivered until certain pending accounts had been adjusted, and that a copy of the abstract of title would be obtained and that (4) would be indemnified from non-production; (d) fact that Thomas Ryder died in Mar. 1839 and that the title deeds are with his representatives.
