In consideration of the sum of £44,000 paid to (1) and (2) by (3), lease [Ne 6 D 2/39/31] and release [Ne 6 D 2/39/32] from (1) and (2) to (3) of the manor of Shireoaks with all its appurtenances [as set out in appended schedule]; redeemable on payment of the sum of £44,000 with interest at a rate of £4.10s. per centum per annum [payment schedule provided]; includes usual covenants and provisos.
Recitals: (a) fact that (1) and (2) are seized of the property in question; (b) fact that (1) and (2) have occasion to borrow £44,000 and have applied to (3) to advance the same.
The schedule referred to is appended to the end of the mortgage; this lists the names of tenants on the estate, the number of each parcel held by them on an associated map [not present], a description of each parcel and its area in acres, roods and perches.
